Refund and Returns Policy

1. Overview

At Good News Books, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase of The Action Bible: God’s Redemptive Story. If you are not happy with your order for any reason, please read our policy below carefully.

2. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return within 7 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The book is unused, unread, and in its original condition
  • The book is in its original packaging with all tags and inserts intact
  • The item was not damaged by the customer
  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or invoice) is provided

Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • The book has been read, used, or shows signs of wear
  • The return request is made after 7 days of delivery
  • The book was damaged due to misuse or improper handling by the customer
  • The item was purchased during a sale or at a discounted price

3. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photographs of the damaged/defective item
  • A brief description of the issue

We will arrange a free replacement or full refund upon verification. No return shipping cost will be charged in such cases.

4. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Email us at dukestudios.fl@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return
  • Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days
  • If approved, we will share a Shiprocket return pickup confirmation with you
  • Pack the item securely in its original packaging and hand it over to the pickup agent

5. Return Shipping

We use Shiprocket for all return logistics.

  • If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or wrong item — return shipping is free of charge
  • If the return is due to a change of mind or any other reason — return shipping costs will be borne by the customer

6. Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.)
  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

If you have not received your refund after 7 business days, please check with your bank or payment provider first, then contact us at dukestudios.fl@gmail.com.

7. Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order before it is shipped. To cancel, email us immediately at dukestudios.fl@gmail.com with your order number.

  • If the order has not yet been dispatched — full refund will be issued
  • If the order has already been shipped via Shiprocket — cancellation is not possible; please follow the return process after delivery

8. Non-Returnable Situations

We are unable to process returns or refunds in the following situations:

  • Return request raised after 7 days of delivery
  • Item is not in original, unused condition
  • Original packaging is missing or damaged
  • Damage caused by the customer after delivery
